Washboard Breezy talks about playing in a successful band from Indiana and how the Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band has survived in the industry. She says the thing that made the Big Damn Band popular was giving up everything to focus on the band and constantly tour around the world.

“We got rid of our home, we lived in a van… we were homeless for years, living like hobos.”
Washboard Breezy says Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band has been doing 250 shows a year, for the past 8 years. She loves being on tour and traveling constantly, and it’s a little easier for her because she is married to the lead singer and guitarist in the band.
